The first thing you notice about these speakers, is just how small they are and how little they weigh. As soon as you connect them up and power on you know they are something special.
The treble can be slightly sibilant and a little untidy. They do not have what I would describe as the most refined sound but they just bounce along with such enthusiasm that you can’t help but smile at them while you listen. Apart from the full and `juicy’ bass that seems to come from below you, the other fantastic quality they have is their imaging and sense of space around them. No other speaker I have tried has matched them for this, they really do throw the sound around which all adds to their charm. Although the figures don’t suggest it I’ve always found myself having to wind my amps up to get them going. They play rock, dance and gentle music with no real preference.
