The Herald
This is where the Royd range of high quality loudspeakers begins. Though The Herald is our budget loudspeaker it is designed to deliver rich and emotional musical enjoyment of a standard not compromised by price. Compatible with a wide variety of amplifiers it will capture the full range and power of both digital and analogue recorded music.Like all the Royd loudspeaker range The Herald has been developed using the latest computer techniques for analysing transients. The side ported arrangement of the cabinet offers easier siting for optimum positioning in almost any listening room. The bass/mid range unit has been specifically designed for this cabinet and with the flush mounted tweeter, covers the complete audible frequency range.
The Herald loudspeaker is best placed on a Royd stand and should always be used with the grilles in place. Optimum performance will be achieved after a period of ‘running in’ and a room temperature of no less than 60°F/ 15°C
– reproduced from literature that accompanied the speakers.
Powerful little speaker which can sound slightly bright at times, but they’ll make all the difference at the end of a dull-sounding system.
